A plea to the officers to do the right thing.
Many of your kinsmen are beginning to express dissatisfaction with your continued lack of participation in LOTRO. Several of you have not logged on for any length of time for the past few days or weeks.
It is understood that real life events take precedence over a game. But if, for whatever reason, you are unable to be active in the game, should you continue to be an officer?
From comments I've posted in the OO forums, it appears that some of you appear to not even like the game anymore or the direction it is headed in terms of game play.
You are letting your membership down by not being among the most stalwart supporters of the game and active participants in the kinship. Not only do we miss your chatting and grouping with you, but your continuing long absences make recruiting new members almost impossible to do.
Many, if not most, of your kinsmen joined this kinship because they like you and wanted to give their support to you to help make EotW one of the best kinships on the server. Now, it appears you are abandoning your friends and turning your back on them and the support they so willingly and trustingly gave to you. Your kinsmen looked up to you for in-game leadership and support.
We expected you to lead groups into battle against the forces of evil. We expected you to recruit and help newbies understand and better play the game. WE expected to be able to regularly chat with you in-game and enjoy the benefits of our mutual friendship.
What we did not expect is your long absences or comments that make it seem like you don't even like the game any longer.
So, think about this and then do the right thing that will provide the most benefit to your fellow kinsmen. Your kinsmen who remain active and supportive of LOTRO and EotW deserve better than what they are getting right now.
Thank you for reading. Tex.
