Eyes of the Watcher

Little is known about the creature known as "The Watcher in the Water." The beast, said to haunt the lake waters on the western walls of Moria, has seldom been seen by any who have lived to tell the tale. The few descriptions written down describe a mass of powerful tentacles, aware and willing to strike out at any living being that should approach its lair. So little is known about the beast, in fact, that in some parts or the world it has become a myth to scare unruly children: "Behave, or the Watcher will take notice of you!"

As shadows and strange beings start to infringe on the good people of Middle Earth, a new kinship has formed to help stop these dark powers. The heroes in this kinship are alert to the ominous tidings sweeping across the land, and like the great lake beast of Moria their reach is far and wide. It is hoped that through their actions, the evil forces that so boldly walk the land will have their own bogeyman to fear. An entity so powerful, so all-knowing, so determined in its cause to rid the land of wickedness, that even the foul denizens of Mordor will tremble at the name:

We are the Eyes of the Watcher.
